How Does Tobacco Cause Cancer?
Cigarette smoke releases harmful chemicals. These chemicals enter our blood stream and affect entire body. Tobacco smoke has at least 70 chemicals that cause cancer, also known as carcinogens. Every time you breathe in that smoke, those chemicals get into your bloodstream, which carries the chemicals to all parts of your body.
Even Non-smokers who are exposed to secondhand smoke are at risk for lung cancer and other respiratory conditions.
